  • Reporting to SVP of Product, I lead a team of 12 direct/ 8 indirect reports;  managing $5M budget.
  • Continued growth of Product Marketing Department: Focus on formalizing Go-To-Market strategies and operationalized best practices to ensure the successful launch of products such as Film Transparency and Product Builder.
  • Serve as lead  in complete redesigns of internal and external properties: Leading to the creation of compelling user experience which led to the successfully on-boarding of newly acquired internal and high priority external parties 3 months ahead of schedule.
  • Orchestrated localization efforts and geo rollouts based on usage analytics to fully support global audience and taking into account complexities in each territory.
  • Development of product/corporate branding through to implementation to ensure consistent brand and user experience for clients across newly acquired platforms entering The Orchard product suite.
  • Implemented a series of product management and development processes to streamline product requirements, formalize feature prioritization, and transition development from a loose waterfall-based development model to a lean and effective agile/scrum development methodology.

  • Assumed responsibility of all design resources across the organization, including product, interactive and graphic design. Reporting to the SVP of Product & Engineering continued to grow my global direct report  team from 2 employees to 14, including Product Design, Product Marketing, Interactive Design, Product Management and Frontend Development. Managing projects over $200M.
  • Established Product Marketing Department: Assumed responsibility activities including external product and brand messaging, development of value proposition and product launch management. Identified strategic need within organization to streamline the sales/acquisitions process by creating the sales enablement center providing team with immediate access to product roadmaps, analytics and performance curated per market.
  • Initiated and led corporate site redesign efforts: Identified significant issue with previous corporate. Audit of content for importance focusing on reducing message to key points. Complete visual redesign of site and IA. Increased recurring visits by 72% in first 3 months of launch.

  • Lead The Orchard design department,, responsibilities include: developing creative strategy, supervising and guiding team members, assigning tasks, taking part in key client meetings and providing ideas which increase department creativity.
  • Lead end-to-end product design vision and implementation, including production of all deliverables, storyboards, wireframes, requirements, etc. for key company strategic projects i.e. Corporate site redesign, Workstation dashboard redesign, Mobile product and Sony Integration work. By focusing on redesigning to promote consistent use of styles across properties, front-end development time reduced by 60%.
  • Within 9 months was able to implement design strategy in 8 projects that have already gone or have started to go into production.
  • Created a “user experience research culture” gaining buy-in across multiple organizations that product quality directly drives user adoption.
  • Drove design and execution of user experience which set brand standards through collaboration with executive, marketing and retail teams.

  • Leading the definition and development of the product roadmap and customer experience for services. Inherently cross-functional; working closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our video customer experience.
  • Successfully conceptualized, designed and delivered label auditing tool which took a highly manual process bringing in nearly $2M annually to a fully automated tool allowing the team to increase number of labels audited by 218% leading to an increase of over $4M in revenue annually.
  • Led the redesign of The Orchard main Video Services tool BACON improving claim performance by 40% resulting in over $1M in revenue while reducing unscheduled downtime by 40%. Set vision and create roadmap based on platform capabilities. Collaborated with engineering to balance feature value with implementation cost.
  • Developed a thorough understanding of the digital video market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.

Senior Technical Product Manager               03/2013 to 03/2014

ZEFR INC. – Los Angeles, CA                                                                          

  • Led product life cycle management, set product strategy and create roadmap for ZEFR’s cross-functional suite of products, which enables digital marketers to advertise, monitor brand presence online, create and execute cutting-edge campaigns.
  • Manage field marketing and pre-sales efforts for large ($100K – 1M) opportunities and achieved growth of product sales over 35% in Q4 2013, successfully extending into new markets, including brand intelligence and channel management.
  • Led business strategy team focused on improving new product introductions, web strategy and knowledge management both for internal and client benefit. Resulting in cost cutting by modernizing internal business processes, allowing a 65% reduction in resources allocated to supporting those business functions.

  • Lead product manager tasked with building business intelligence tools providing sound data and information for organizations in the legislative, regulatory, and contract spending sectors, identifying key issues and trends allowing them to make informed strategic moves in the transportation industry.
